Chocolate Marble Banana Bread

This Chocolate Marbled Banana Bread is sooo easy to make, with no special ingredients, and bursting with flavor.⁣ You can get buy with 3/4 cup sugar but the full cup will yield a moister loaf.
3-4 very ripe bananas⁣
1 c sugar⁣
2 eggs⁣
1/4 c unsalted butter, melted ⁣
2 tsp pure vanilla extract⁣
1/2 tsp salt⁣
1 1/2 c flour⁣
1 tsp baking soda⁣
3 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder⁣
Butter or oil a loaf pan. Mash bananas with a potato masher or fork. Stir in sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla and salt. Add flour and baking soda and stir until combined. Don’t over stir. Divide batter into two bowls. Mix cocoa in to one of the bowls. ⁣
Drop alternating spoonfuls of chocolate and regular batter into the loaf pan. Use a chopstick or knife to gently swirl batter. ⁣
If you have an extra banana you can slice it in half length wise and lay it on top (cut side up) before baking to add a fancy (but easy!) decorative flair.⁣
Bake at 350 F for about an hour. I like to check on it at 50 minutes. If you stick a tooth pick or knife in the center it shouldn’t be wet when you pull it out.⁣ depending on the size and material of your pan, it could take up to 65/70 minutes. Darker/bigger pans take less time and lighter metal/smaller pans take a little more time.

Let cool for at least 15 minutes before removing from pan and slicing. ⁣
